Some More Cards for Challenges

 Happy Saturday!!

Today I am popping in with some cards that I created for a BUNCH of challenges. I have decided that the best way for me to work on cards is to stamp/die cut a punch of elements, then put together the cards at a later date. It somehow helps my creativity. I also have a ton of supply links. NONE are affiliates but I add them just in case you want to purchase.

My first card is the last of my Valentine's that I created so far. I am not sure that I will be making more as I only send out a few to people I care about.

I had extra hearts left over from my of session die cutting with Simon Says Stamp's Geometric Building Hearts and a bunch of pattern paper scraps.

The sentiment is from MFT Stamps (retired) Little Love Notes. The embossing folder is the retired Spellbinders Intertwined Lattice Folder.

I am entering this card into all the challenges below:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Love is in the Air

AAA Colourful Challenge-Colourboard #12

My next card that I created is a Birthday card.

I used The Greetery's Pinwheel Party Stencils and Dies as the focal point for this card.

I used the colors from Just Add Ink's #737 badge as inspiration. The green was inspired by the limes, the pink by the watermelon.

The sentiment is from The Greetery's Birthday Bloom's Stamp and Die set and I also used the Twisted Crepe Die to "hang" my pinwheels on.

For the embossed background, I used Honey Bee Stamps 3 D Burlap embossing folder. I didn't use the correct sandwich in my embossing machine so that I would only get a tiny bit of the texture from the folder. This is a way to stretch your supplies.

The inspiration for the layout of this card was from this week's
Freshly Made Sketches #672.

For my last card, I once again I used The Greetery's Pinwheel Party's Dies and Stencils to create a birthday card.

I used the Male Room Challenge #195 as the inspiration for this card. The challenge was to create a monochrome card.

I used the blue as my color and plenty of white space for my design. I actually used the Distress Ink Salty Ocean for both the light and dark blues. I just used a heavier hand to create the darker blue.

The sentiment is  also from The Greetery's Birthday Blooms. I am trying to use supplies that I have to create more cards rather than just collecting!!!

I think my favorite part of this card was to add the blue gems throughout the design.

Well, that is all from me today. I am off to actually create some cards as my blogging as inspired me to craft today.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS Saturday afternoon.

Nora
