Some More Cards for Challenges

 Happy Saturday!!

Today I am popping in with some cards that I created for a BUNCH of challenges. I have decided that the best way for me to work on cards is to stamp/die cut a punch of elements, then put together the cards at a later date. It somehow helps my creativity. I also have a ton of supply links. NONE are affiliates but I add them just in case you want to purchase.

My first card is the last of my Valentine's that I created so far. I am not sure that I will be making more as I only send out a few to people I care about.

I had extra hearts left over from my of session die cutting with Simon Says Stamp's Geometric Building Hearts and a bunch of pattern paper scraps.

The sentiment is from MFT Stamps (retired) Little Love Notes. The embossing folder is the retired Spellbinders Intertwined Lattice Folder.

I am entering this card into all the challenges below:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Love is in the Air

AAA Colourful Challenge-Colourboard #12

My next card that I created is a Birthday card.

I used The Greetery's Pinwheel Party Stencils and Dies as the focal point for this card.

I used the colors from Just Add Ink's #737 badge as inspiration. The green was inspired by the limes, the pink by the watermelon.

The sentiment is from The Greetery's Birthday Bloom's Stamp and Die set and I also used the Twisted Crepe Die to "hang" my pinwheels on.

For the embossed background, I used Honey Bee Stamps 3 D Burlap embossing folder. I didn't use the correct sandwich in my embossing machine so that I would only get a tiny bit of the texture from the folder. This is a way to stretch your supplies.

The inspiration for the layout of this card was from this week's
Freshly Made Sketches #672.

For my last card, I once again I used The Greetery's Pinwheel Party's Dies and Stencils to create a birthday card.

I used the Male Room Challenge #195 as the inspiration for this card. The challenge was to create a monochrome card.

I used the blue as my color and plenty of white space for my design. I actually used the Distress Ink Salty Ocean for both the light and dark blues. I just used a heavier hand to create the darker blue.

The sentiment is  also from The Greetery's Birthday Blooms. I am trying to use supplies that I have to create more cards rather than just collecting!!!

I think my favorite part of this card was to add the blue gems throughout the design.

Well, that is all from me today. I am off to actually create some cards as my blogging as inspired me to craft today.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS Saturday afternoon.

A Valentine Card

 Happy Thursday!

I have had a snow day today. The beauty of working in a school. It couldn't have come at a better time either. I so needed the day off!

Since I had the time, I spent some time in my craft room. It was so relaxing.

I used hearts that I cut out last week to make this Valentine card. I love when I am able to die cut a ton of images out and have enough to make more than one card.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Geometric Builders Heart Dies for the hearts. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Big Valentine's Day.

I am entering this card into a few challenges. I was inspired by Just Us Girls Challenge #761-Use a Heart Die. I am also entering this into Paper Players Challenge #723-Love is in the Air.

That is all from me today. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

A Ton of Valentines!

Happy Sunday!!

I have had a lot of fun this week making Valentine's. I rarely get in my craft room during the week but due to what is going on in our country, it has kept me sane.

My first card that I created I used the retired "Heart Happy Coverplate" by The Stamp Market and the "Love" stamp by Simon Says Stamp!

I die cut the cover plate three times and glued the outlines together. I then took the hearts inside the plate and used different color Distress Inks to shade them in.

I also used a stencil over one color. This was SO FUN to create and really helped my stress level.

I am going to enter this card in some challenges:

Inkspirational Challenge #334-Red and Pink and The Color Hues Challenge #103: Pink and Red:

For my second card, I used just the hearts that were left over from the coverplate.

The sentiment is from an old My Favorite Things stamp set-My Galantine.

Once again, I used ink blending with Distress Inks on my hearts and used a stencil over it.

Such a simple card and I cannot wait to mail this out to one of the special people in my life.

I am going to enter this card into the Inspired By #IB321 Challenge-Valentine Hot Chocolate. I used the red, heart candy dish as my inspiration for my card.

For my next card, I used a TON of pattern paper scraps and the Simon Says Stamp
Geometric Builders Hearts to die cut a TON of hearts. I then layered different ones together to create my hearts.

I layered my hearts over a dry embossed background that was embossed using the retired Intertwined Lattice from Spellbinders.

I dug deep for these pattern papers. Some are from K & Company, some from Basic Grey and a Doodlebug piece of pattern paper. I love when I can use up my scraps. I keep accumulating them faster than I used them.

The sentiment is from MFT Stamps retired "Little Love Notes."

I am going to enter this card into the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #263. I used the top line-Hearts, Designer Paper and a Love Sentiment.

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!!
