Happy Sunday!!!

Happy Sunday!!

I am just popping in with some cards for some challenges. I am trying to use some of my stash this year so I dug out a Simon Says Stamp! stamp and die set-Celebrate You (retired).

For my first card, I had fun stamping the candles and coloring them in with Copic Markers. I then embellished them with some different colored Stickles. Using that stash!!

I dug out some stencils and used the stamp Grunge Tones from Visible Image with some Pinkfresh Studio Ink. I then used a Distress Tool and distressed the edges.

I adhered the coral panel onto a white A2 card base and used foam adhesive to pop up the candles and the sentiment.  My last step was to adhere some confetti sequins randomly around the card. I LOVE how this card came out and will be using these candles again.

I am entering this card into the following challenges Just Add Ink #779-Sketch (I used the candles as the rectangle) and The Little Red Wagon #846-Just the Way You Are (how I did the distressed edges-I am into this look!).

The second card I created I used the same stamp set as the first. This stamp set has a TON of fun images and sentiments to use on birthday cards.

I used another couple challenges as my inspiration. I used the All Sorts Challenge #843-Embossing (I used dry and heat embossing on my card) and Can You Handle the Pressure?-Dry Embossing, with Die Cuts being a twist (I have both!!), and The Color Hues Challenge #127-Peach and Teal. Yes, I used shades of both the colors but I was inspired by the colors.

I had fun using a stencil on the circles behind my stamped/colored in drinks.

For the dry embossing, I used Spellbinders Intertwined Lattice Embossing Folder on white cardstock.

I used some Glossy Accents on the stamped images and some randomly placed confetti sequins.

For my last card, I originally made for a IG challenge. However, I created a different card instead for that challenge and am posting this here.

Once again I used the Celebrate You stamp/die set by Simon Says Stamp! for my card. I used the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangles on the coral cardstock. I then layered this on a white A2 card base. I used a rectangle of pattern paper and then layered some Waffle Flower Stamps over the top.

To finish off my card is to add some star sequins and Glossy Accents around the card front.

I am entering this card into this round of Seize the Birthday #320. I am not doing the topping challenge as it needs to be CAS and Dies. I have the dies, but it isn't really CAS.

Well, that is all from me today. We are bracing for a huge Nor'easter today so I will be back with more cards tomorrow!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Sunday with a Birthday Card!!

Hey Friends!!!

I am just popping in with a card that I created for some challenges. I received a package with some new stamps and I HAD to use this one!!!

This is the House Mouse Party Streamers from Spellbinders. I colored it in with Copic Markers and then cut it apart so that I could use it with this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #719. The colors were inspired by this weeks Inspired By...#371 badge and the birthday is for this round of Seize the Birthday Challenge. I used the anything goes theme for that one.

I dug out some purple cardstock and embossed it with the Honey Bee Burlap embossing folder-one of my go to folders. I trimmed it into a 4" by 5 1/4" piece and then used a Distress Tool along the edges. (**Please excuse the white dog hair in my photo. I just noticed it and I don't feel like going and taking it out!! My dogs are rarely in my craft room but their hair gets everywhere.)

I then stamped it with a retired MFT Stamp-Brush Splatter Background Stamp-in purple.

The sentiment strips are from an old MFT Birthday sentiment stamp set. I know they are NOT the same width but I did that on purpose.

I completed my card by adding some blue gems that went with the background and some Stickles on the hat decorations. This was SO FUN to make!! I have not stamped and colored in a while and it was good therapy. I have needed some therapy the last couple weeks!!!

I am trying something new with adding all of the images together. I need to do some frames or something but I wanted to get this posted. Last week I made cards for challenges and forgot to enter the cards into them in time!!!

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

There is a NEW CHALLENGE over at the Cupcake Inspiration BLOG-Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #614

 Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #614 is a THEME challenge-HOW DO YOU RELAX?

I actually created THREE cards for this challenge. The activity that relaxes me the most is getting lost in a good book. Who can ask for more?

The dies I used are called "Book Collection" from Lawn Fawn. I had fun going through my scraps to die cut these books out. The sentiments are from all different sets I own in my stash.

The flowers are some "extras" from various cards I have created in the past and are from Spellbinders. It was fun to dig through my stash of things to find little things to pair with the books. The background stamp on this card is one from Hero Arts.

This card was made from a TON die cuts that I had left over. I think this one is my favorite of the three. This little book set was so fun to use!!

Below is the challenge badge I used for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #614:

Some More Cards for Challenges

 Happy Saturday!!

Today I am popping in with some cards that I created for a BUNCH of challenges. I have decided that the best way for me to work on cards is to stamp/die cut a punch of elements, then put together the cards at a later date. It somehow helps my creativity. I also have a ton of supply links. NONE are affiliates but I add them just in case you want to purchase.

My first card is the last of my Valentine's that I created so far. I am not sure that I will be making more as I only send out a few to people I care about.

I had extra hearts left over from my of session die cutting with Simon Says Stamp's Geometric Building Hearts and a bunch of pattern paper scraps.

The sentiment is from MFT Stamps (retired) Little Love Notes. The embossing folder is the retired Spellbinders Intertwined Lattice Folder.

I am entering this card into all the challenges below:

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge-Love is in the Air

AAA Colourful Challenge-Colourboard #12

My next card that I created is a Birthday card.

I used The Greetery's Pinwheel Party Stencils and Dies as the focal point for this card.

I used the colors from Just Add Ink's #737 badge as inspiration. The green was inspired by the limes, the pink by the watermelon.

The sentiment is from The Greetery's Birthday Bloom's Stamp and Die set and I also used the Twisted Crepe Die to "hang" my pinwheels on.

For the embossed background, I used Honey Bee Stamps 3 D Burlap embossing folder. I didn't use the correct sandwich in my embossing machine so that I would only get a tiny bit of the texture from the folder. This is a way to stretch your supplies.

The inspiration for the layout of this card was from this week's
Freshly Made Sketches #672.

For my last card, I once again I used The Greetery's Pinwheel Party's Dies and Stencils to create a birthday card.

I used the Male Room Challenge #195 as the inspiration for this card. The challenge was to create a monochrome card.

I used the blue as my color and plenty of white space for my design. I actually used the Distress Ink Salty Ocean for both the light and dark blues. I just used a heavier hand to create the darker blue.

The sentiment is  also from The Greetery's Birthday Blooms. I am trying to use supplies that I have to create more cards rather than just collecting!!!

I think my favorite part of this card was to add the blue gems throughout the design.

Well, that is all from me today. I am off to actually create some cards as my blogging as inspired me to craft today.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS Saturday afternoon.

Happy Sunday with Some Challenges

Hey Friends!!

Just popping in with a few cards I created for some challenges. I have been busy this weekend playing in my craft room. I am trying to use a mix of my old and new supplies. I was supposed to be on a buy nothing challenge with myself but I blew that already. Hopefully I will do better.

My first two cards I created using two challenges as my inspiration. I used the Color Hues Challenge for my colors and one of the pillows from the Inspired By... Challenge for my design.

This is my first card that I created. I had a lot of fun using a star embossing folder by Simon Says Stamp, a die by Paper Rose (stars) and a sentiment from Waffle Flower.

I loved that I had some old Zing Embossing Powder that matched the lime in my cardstock exactly!!! The inspirations badges for both challenges are below.

For my second card, I did the same design as the first but I flipped the colors.

I used some Lime cardstock from Gina K Designs, as well as the matching Key Lime ink to stamp on the card front.

The stamps are a mix from Stampers Anonymous. The sentiment is from MFT Stamps.

My third card I created was inspired by a sketch from Sunday Stamps #352.

I used an old kit from Simon Says Stamp for all the products on this card. The circle die in an old one from Reverse Confetti. Instead of papers flipped on the side behind the circle, I used leaf ephemera.

The ephemera is from Tim Holtz. The paper was in the kit and I am not sure who made it. The sentiments were from my stash.

I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink and ink blended around the edges of everything.

Well, that is all that I have today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS night!!
