A Ton of Valentines!

Happy Sunday!!

I have had a lot of fun this week making Valentine's. I rarely get in my craft room during the week but due to what is going on in our country, it has kept me sane.

My first card that I created I used the retired "Heart Happy Coverplate" by The Stamp Market and the "Love" stamp by Simon Says Stamp!

I die cut the cover plate three times and glued the outlines together. I then took the hearts inside the plate and used different color Distress Inks to shade them in.

I also used a stencil over one color. This was SO FUN to create and really helped my stress level.

I am going to enter this card in some challenges:

Inkspirational Challenge #334-Red and Pink and The Color Hues Challenge #103: Pink and Red:

For my second card, I used just the hearts that were left over from the coverplate.

The sentiment is from an old My Favorite Things stamp set-My Galantine.

Once again, I used ink blending with Distress Inks on my hearts and used a stencil over it.

Such a simple card and I cannot wait to mail this out to one of the special people in my life.

I am going to enter this card into the Inspired By #IB321 Challenge-Valentine Hot Chocolate. I used the red, heart candy dish as my inspiration for my card.

For my next card, I used a TON of pattern paper scraps and the Simon Says Stamp
Geometric Builders Hearts to die cut a TON of hearts. I then layered different ones together to create my hearts.

I layered my hearts over a dry embossed background that was embossed using the retired Intertwined Lattice from Spellbinders.

I dug deep for these pattern papers. Some are from K & Company, some from Basic Grey and a Doodlebug piece of pattern paper. I love when I can use up my scraps. I keep accumulating them faster than I used them.

The sentiment is from MFT Stamps retired "Little Love Notes."

I am going to enter this card into the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #263. I used the top line-Hearts, Designer Paper and a Love Sentiment.

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!!

I pulled out some old supplies for this card. I used a tag die from The Greetery, as well as the Birthday Blooms stamp and die set. I apologize for not giving links any more but I got tired of having to fix dead links!!

The sentiment is a from the Stampendous Sincere Sentiments Stamp Set. I added some yellow twine from my stash and some red gems.

There is Still Time to Play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #609

 Hello Friends!!!

Just popping in with a card for the CIC609 Challenge. The Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #609 is a COLOR challenge. Use the colors magenta, purple and pink on a project.

I used the same supplies on my card as last week, but instead of using Copic Markers to color my flowers in, I used the matching stencils. Below is the Challenge Badge for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #609:

I chose to distress the edges of the Pinkfresh Studio Sparkling Diamonds background. I used a Fancy Rectangle Frame behind the Always Smiling bouquet.

Happy Sunday with Some Challenges

Hey Friends!!

Just popping in with a few cards I created for some challenges. I have been busy this weekend playing in my craft room. I am trying to use a mix of my old and new supplies. I was supposed to be on a buy nothing challenge with myself but I blew that already. Hopefully I will do better.

My first two cards I created using two challenges as my inspiration. I used the Color Hues Challenge for my colors and one of the pillows from the Inspired By... Challenge for my design.

This is my first card that I created. I had a lot of fun using a star embossing folder by Simon Says Stamp, a die by Paper Rose (stars) and a sentiment from Waffle Flower.

I loved that I had some old Zing Embossing Powder that matched the lime in my cardstock exactly!!! The inspirations badges for both challenges are below.

For my second card, I did the same design as the first but I flipped the colors.

I used some Lime cardstock from Gina K Designs, as well as the matching Key Lime ink to stamp on the card front.

The stamps are a mix from Stampers Anonymous. The sentiment is from MFT Stamps.

My third card I created was inspired by a sketch from Sunday Stamps #352.

I used an old kit from Simon Says Stamp for all the products on this card. The circle die in an old one from Reverse Confetti. Instead of papers flipped on the side behind the circle, I used leaf ephemera.

The ephemera is from Tim Holtz. The paper was in the kit and I am not sure who made it. The sentiments were from my stash.

I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink and ink blended around the edges of everything.

Well, that is all that I have today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS night!!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #609-Magenta, Purple and Pink

 Hello friends!!

It is time for the FIRST Cupcake Inspiration Challenge of 2025. Challenge #609 is a COLOR CHALLENGE. Create a project using the colors magenta, purple and pink.

I decided to color in the flowers the three challenge colors. I used Copic Markers and then some Nuvo Clear Sparkle over the top. Below is the Challenge Badge for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #609:

I began my design process by using some new supplies I bought in 2024. I am attempting to do a no buy for the first part of the year. This is hard for me as I tend to be a collector of supplies.

I used Pinkfresh Studio Nested Elongated Oval Blanket Stitch dies for my frame, Sparkling Diamonds Texture Plate and Always Smiling stamp/die set for my flowers and sentiment.
