Let's Stick Together-Hero Arts Cards

***Some Links in this Post are Affiliate Links used at no extra cost to you.***

Happy Saturday Crafty Friends!!

I am popping in with some cards I created for an Instagram Blog Hop I am participating in today. It is to create cards "Just for Laughs." I can't say mine are very funny BUT they make me smile!!!

If you would like to join, my IG is @hobbitnoll to get the information!! I actually created MORE than three cards so I decided to post all my "extras," as well as the ones from the hop, on my blog.

The first two I used a member of the Hero Arts Team as the inspiration for this card. The purple bear did is not exactly clear in this photo as the glitter pen I used made it hard to photograph.

I stamped each using the stamp set Let's Stick Together from Hero Arts, created by Carly Tee (Her IG is @carlyteeminner-check her out because she is SO TALENTED!) and die cut it out using the coordinating die.

My second card is similar to my first, minus the embossed background. The sentiment die cut is from the Hero Arts Big Hugs die set and the stamped sentiment circles are from the Big Hugs Stamps, also designed by Carly Tee.

Really simple card to make but both came out adorable IMHO!!

My third card is a simple card with a rainbow of Gummy Bears!! This is my favorite of all of the bunch I created!

I stamped each bear with SSS Dye Ink, used colored pencils to give them some dimension and then used a glitter pen over each for a bit of sparkle.

I covered a piece of gray cardstock with a strip of white paper embossed using the Simon Says Stamp Stitching Sampler Embossing Folder

I popped each bear up with some foam tape over the strip and put them in rainbow order. The sentiment is from the Let's Stick Together Stamp set from Hero Arts.

My next two cards are very similar in nature. I actually CASED on of my own cards, which I had used a Freshly Made Sketch to design. (If you would like to see it, it is the first card from THIS POST.)

This is the first card I created with this design. I lined the bears up on an angle in rainbow order.

I stamped and die cut a sentiment and placed it on an angle, highlighting it with some rhinestones.

The next card is very similar BUT it is NOT in rainbow order. I used my all the extras from my stamping session to create it and did not have enough to make a rainbow.

In fact, the little orange bear on the left bottom is not a full bear head!! It is left over from the first card!! I wanted to add it so that it wasn't all the same colors!

Aren't these bears SO CUTE!! I just had SO MUCH FUN playing with this set!! I have the whole Beary Sweet kit and plan to make some more cards using dies at a later date.

My last card I am putting on here is NOT my favorite. I created it before the previous two and wish I hadn't wasted the stamped bears on it.

The Let's Stick Together stamp set has all sorts of fun gummy stamps so I stamped each with black ink on a white panel. I then used some of the colored bears over where I stamped the bears.

To make it a rainbow theme, I added the three cardstock strips in colors that were missing from it.

Why I do not like this card that much is that I made a mistake. I wanted to emphasize the eyes and nose of the bear so I put a bit of Glossy Accents over them. It didn't go as planned and dulled the features, not emphasize them.

Well, this has been a LONG post. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

A Few Sympathy Cards for Some Challenges

Hey Friends!!

I am popping in with some cards for some challenges. These are also included in an IG Hop-Create It 3 Ways and the theme was SYMPATHY. It is to use the same products to make three cards. I used some stamps/dies from an old Simon Says Stamp kit. Butterfly Blossoms was perfect for the sympathy theme.

I also showcased an Altenew Die-Floral Lace-to ground my flowers.

I colored the flowers in with Copic Markers and all the sentiments are from Taylored Expressions.

I am entering this particular card into the following two challenges-The Color Hues Challenge #129 Gold and Marigold and the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge-Beautiful Blooms.

The second card I created I used a yellow card base. This made the flowers look so differently than the purple.

There was a question in the messages if you put sequins or gems on a sympathy card. I say, the prettier the better and I LOVE a little shine.

I am entering this card in the following challenges-Just Add Ink#781-Just Add Wings and Just Us Girls #815 Mood Board Week.

The last card I created I used a slightly different purple for the background.

I really like how using different colored backgrounds can create a totally different look!!

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Once again I used a day 4 die from the Spellbinder’s 2026 Advent Calendar for my card. came with three different sentiments but I chose the thank you for my cards.

I added some die cut flowers from my stash and the background I used a white embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp.

The little polaroid frame I created by using two different square dies. The pattern paper was from my scraps.

That is all from me. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

An Encouragement Card and Thanks Card for Some Challenges

Hey Friends!!!

I am just popping in with two cards that I created using some challenges as inspiration.

My first card I used The Paper Players #774 Sketch that is on the blog this week as my inspiration.

I dug out my coveted Basic Grey paper for this card. I die cut the flowers using the Fresh Picked Anemones from Spellbinders.

The sentiment is from Kristina Werner for Concord & 9th Everything Will Be Okay Stamp/Die set.

I LOVE how this card came out. The inspiration sketch is below:

For my second card, I used the colors from the Color Hues Challenge Badge #TCH127.

I dug out the Friendship Leafy Cluster set from Simon Says Stamp! for the leaves and the sentiment.

I did a bit of ink blending with Ocean Breeze and Aquamarine dye ink from Pinkfresh as my teal color on the leaves. The peach on the leaves and the background is from Peachy Keen by Altenew.

I used the Altenew Arched Foliage embossing folder on white cardstock for the background. I cut a strip of peach at the top.

I finished the card off with some sequins that was in an old Spellbinders Advent Calendar. I was so bad at opening them when I bought them and completed opening THREE this weekend!

Well, that is all from me today. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Happy Sunday!!!

Happy Sunday!!

I am just popping in with some cards for some challenges. I am trying to use some of my stash this year so I dug out a Simon Says Stamp! stamp and die set-Celebrate You (retired).

For my first card, I had fun stamping the candles and coloring them in with Copic Markers. I then embellished them with some different colored Stickles. Using that stash!!

I dug out some stencils and used the stamp Grunge Tones from Visible Image with some Pinkfresh Studio Ink. I then used a Distress Tool and distressed the edges.

I adhered the coral panel onto a white A2 card base and used foam adhesive to pop up the candles and the sentiment.  My last step was to adhere some confetti sequins randomly around the card. I LOVE how this card came out and will be using these candles again.

I am entering this card into the following challenges Just Add Ink #779-Sketch (I used the candles as the rectangle) and The Little Red Wagon #846-Just the Way You Are (how I did the distressed edges-I am into this look!).

The second card I created I used the same stamp set as the first. This stamp set has a TON of fun images and sentiments to use on birthday cards.

I used another couple challenges as my inspiration. I used the All Sorts Challenge #843-Embossing (I used dry and heat embossing on my card) and Can You Handle the Pressure?-Dry Embossing, with Die Cuts being a twist (I have both!!), and The Color Hues Challenge #127-Peach and Teal. Yes, I used shades of both the colors but I was inspired by the colors.

I had fun using a stencil on the circles behind my stamped/colored in drinks.

For the dry embossing, I used Spellbinders Intertwined Lattice Embossing Folder on white cardstock.

I used some Glossy Accents on the stamped images and some randomly placed confetti sequins.

For my last card, I originally made for a IG challenge. However, I created a different card instead for that challenge and am posting this here.

Once again I used the Celebrate You stamp/die set by Simon Says Stamp! for my card. I used the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangles on the coral cardstock. I then layered this on a white A2 card base. I used a rectangle of pattern paper and then layered some Waffle Flower Stamps over the top.

To finish off my card is to add some star sequins and Glossy Accents around the card front.

I am entering this card into this round of Seize the Birthday #320. I am not doing the topping challenge as it needs to be CAS and Dies. I have the dies, but it isn't really CAS.

Well, that is all from me today. We are bracing for a huge Nor'easter today so I will be back with more cards tomorrow!! Thanks for stopping by!!
