Christmas Cards for Some Challenges

Hey Friends!!! 

Just popping in with some cards that I created for some challenges. I had some new supplies that I bought and they were delivered this past week. I HAD to use them!!

My first card I created for this weeks Inspired By... Challenge #306. I used the colors from the badge-orange, peach, tan and the dark green of the leaves. The stamp set I used is from Pinkfresh Studio.

Below is the badge for #IB306.

I  used the Simon Says Stamp Tessellating Snowflakes embossing folder for my background. I die cut it using an old MFT Blueprints Die #27.

My next card was inspired by two challenges-Tuesday Morning Sketches #778 and the Color Throwdown #815.

Once again I used the same Pinkfresh Studio Festive Foliage Tree Stamp/Dies/Stencil set. 

I used another Simon Says Stamp embossing folder for the right side of my card.

For my third card, I used this the SAME stamp set but made a card for this weeks Jingle Belles Challenge. It was to use PINK on a card.

I did a little distressing on the edges of the bright pink cardstock and then cut off the tree so that I could put my sentiment on the embossed panel.

My last card I created using a bunch of die cuts that I had cut and put together over the year.

I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #658 as my inspiration for my card.

This sketch was PERFECT for all the tiny die cuts that I used. All of them are different Spellbinders dies.

Popping in

 Hey Friends!!

I am just popping in with a quick card to make the deadline for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge. 

I had a lot of fun yesterday with some Distress Sprays. I did a bit of smooshing and then layered some Distress Oxide Spray and Distress Mica Spray to create my orange leaf. I used this in lieu of a tag from the sketch.

I LOVE how it came out!! I then die cut a pumpkin out of cream cardstock and used Antique Linen Distress Ink to shade the pumpkin in to make it look a bit more realistic

I dug out pattern paper and then layered everything together. The sentiment is from Concord and 9th. In the photos it is a bit off but I fixed it after. I just didn't have time to take new photos.

There is a New Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge

 Hello Friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #604 is a THEME challenge-COOL CATS. 

I used the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #604 badge below as my inspiration. However, it was only for the cat theme.

I dug deep for this card as I used very OLD supplies. The stamps are from MFT Stamps. I have had these for YEARS and have NEVER inked them up.

The white panel that my cat and dog is on is an old Project Life rectangle that I had bought when I was scrapbooking. I used Twisted Citron Distress Ink to blend, stencil and stamp the background.

The octagon frame is a retired die from MFT Stamps and the pattern paper is from my stash. I had SO MUCH FUN making this card!!!

For my card, I chose to create a Thank You card. Like the card last week, I made my background using ink blending, stencils and stamps.

The die cuts, with the exception of the postage frame, are from Spellbinders. I am trying to use dies that I have not used before or have not used for a long time.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #603

Hello Friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #603 is a COLOR challenge. Create a project using the colors ORANGE, BROWN and TURQUOISE.

I decided to create a non fall card for my creation. Below is the inspiration badge for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #603:

I created my card using background paper that I made using ink blending, stencils and stamping.

All the die cuts are from Spellbinders. I especially love that bird!!! I used a black pearl for the bird's eye.
