Cards Using Spellbinders Merry Mug Creations Dies

Hey Crafty Friends!!

Today I am popping in with some cards for a couple of challenges. This year I am attempting to pull out old supplies for my cards. I am also trying to make them less dimensional as it cost me an arm and a leg to send out Christmas cards this year!!!

My first card was inspired by Inspired By #370-Winter Knits

I pulled out an old embossing folder, the Spellbinders Mary Mug Creations die set (discontinued) and a sentiment strip for my card. I was inspired by the colors and the sweater pattern on the challenge badge. I also used the sketch but flipped it.

I was trying to figure out how to include the sweater pattern on my card and I had this lightbulb moment to combine a piece of pattern paper that was on my desk and navy cardstock and run it through with an old Tim Holtz Alterations embossing folder.

My cup was cut out of my coveted Basic Grey pattern paper. I hate to use it but what am I doing just hoarding it? It doesn't show up in the photo but I used a bit of Weathered Wood Distress Ink on the left edge of the cup for a bit more dimension.

I added a some Glossy Accents on the "chocolate" bits, as well as the heart on the front of the cup. I also put some Diamond Stickles on the marshmallows for some zing. I LOVE how this came out!!

I used the Make My Monday Challenge #269 for my second card. It was to use pattern paper on your project. I used a scrap of hear pattern paper for my hot chocolate cup.

I used an embossing folder from We R Memory Keepers for the embossed background and layered a piece of red, textured cardstock over it that I had die cut an arch using Spellbinders Essential Arch dies.

Once again I used Glossy Accents on the "chocolate" and the little heart. The red sentiment strips are from Taylored Expressions.

The black sentiment block was in my stash and I do not know the company that made it. I need to go through my stash and figure this all out.

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!

A NEW Challenge-Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #633

Hello Friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #633 is a COLOR challenge-Grape, Fig and Beige.

This year Cupcake Inspirations has decided to be a monthly challenge. This gives
everyone more time to create and enter a project. I hope to see you there!!

To start 2026, I decided to try to use supplies that I have bought and have not used.
I bought the 2026 Spellbinder’s Advent Calendar and decided to use day 1’s offering.

Isn’t the little puppy cute? I had fun creating the background with a Crackle Paintembossing folder from Spellbinder's.

It is all about the Snow!!!

 Hello Crafty Friends!!!

I am popping in today with a couple of cards that I created for some challenges. Though the holidays are over, the cards I created are Christmas cards. I didn't have enough to send out to everyone so I am starting earlier this year!!

I am entering this into this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #718, the Jingle Belles Challenge-to use wrapping paper on a card-the plaid paper is Christmas wrapping paper, and CAS on Friday #325.

I used the Snuggle Snowman that I received from Simon Says Stamp. I die cut the hat out of cardstock and wrapping paper.

The embossing folder is Snowflake Visions. I am not sure who makes it as I forgot to put the company on the front!! The sentiment is from Concord & 9th.

The snowflakes are die cuts from my stash.

The second card I created using sketch #655 from the Paper Craft Crew.

Once again I used the Simon Says Stamp! Snuggle Snowman as the showcase for my card.

The pink paper is from PaperTrey Ink that I die cut with a Waffle Flower Additional Pierced Layer Die.

The green paper is from an old Doodlebug Design paper pad and the sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp and CZ Design Holiday Typewriter stamp/die set.

I LOVE how these came out. It was fun to pair old and new supplies. I am really trying to not buy this year but I am already having a hard time because some of the new releases are amazing.

That is all from me today. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Happy 2026 with some Cards!!!

(**Some links in this post are Affiliate Links used at no extra cost to you!)

Hey Crafty Friends!!!

I have not posted in a while. The Christmas season was CRAZY and I decided to make personal card sets for six of my co-workers. I had a bunch of cards already made BUT instead I wanted them to all have the same ones or similar designs so I decided to start making NEW cards after Thanksgiving. What was I thinking?

The first card set was a purple card set. I used the Fresh Picked Buttercups Dies from Spellbinders for the flowers. I then used a sentiment stamp/die from Simon Says Stamp's Etched Greetings.

The purple pattern paper is PaperTrey Ink. The embossed backgrounds were done using the Argyle Plaid embossing folder from Spellbinders. I finished off the cards with some sequins.

I used this round of Freshly Made Sketches #717 for some of my designs. The flower was one of the panels from the sketch, the sentiment the other.

Below is the card I am entering into this challenge:

The second card set I created I used a combination of old pattern papers from Bazzill and the Spellbinders 2023 Large Die of the Month-Club Blooms.

Out of all the sets, these cards were my FAVORITE!!!

I used the Spellbinders Umbrella Bloom Dies for the red tulip flowers on the right two cards.

Here is the 5th card in the set, as well as some close ups of the flowers from a few cards. The sentiments are from my stash. I was really bad at keeping track of what companies they are from!!!

The last set was inspired by a card I created YEARS ago. It had a cute design and it was easy to recreate!!

I stamped the black and white backgrounds using a Pinkfresh Studio Cling Stamp. I believe it is retired as I cannot find it to link anywhere.

The die cut flowers were once again die cut using the January 2023 Large Die of the Month-Club Blooms. The sentiments are a mix from my stash and Altenew's Billowing Peonies set.

The borders were a mix of twine in yellow, red, pink and a rick rack die from MFT Stamps. Boy do I miss that company!!

I also dug out enamel dots from my stash for accents. I LOVE how these came out too

These were just some of the cards I created for my co-workers. I have another set that will be in a hop in a few weeks and wound up going into my stash to supplement. I added a sheet of hand canceled stamps for them to use on my cards, as well as envelopes, a pretty marker and a scratch lottery ticket for good luck. I was in a rush so I didn't take a photo of how I wrapped the boxes but everyone LOVED them.

Well, that is all from me today. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Here's to 2026 being better than 2025!!

There is Still Time to Play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #632

Hello Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card to remind you that there is still time to play with this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #632 is a THEME CHALLENGE-LET IT SNOW.

Below is the Challenge Badge for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #632:

Instead of using the colors from the Challenge Badge, I decided to go with more of a slate blue. I also wanted to use the gingerbread men from a Pink and Main stamp set that I bought last year. I think this little guy is adorable!

I created a simple background with some blue ink and a snowflake stencil. I then adhered some snowflakes onto my panel and distressed the edges before layering it onto a blue, A2 cardbase.

The stamped and die cut the sentiment from The Greetery. My last step was to adhere a few white gems and my card was done.
