Happy 2026 with some Cards!!!

(**Some links in this post are Affiliate Links used at no extra cost to you!)

Hey Crafty Friends!!!

I have not posted in a while. The Christmas season was CRAZY and I decided to make personal card sets for six of my co-workers. I had a bunch of cards already made BUT instead I wanted them to all have the same ones or similar designs so I decided to start making NEW cards after Thanksgiving. What was I thinking?

The first card set was a purple card set. I used the Fresh Picked Buttercups Dies from Spellbinders for the flowers. I then used a sentiment stamp/die from Simon Says Stamp's Etched Greetings.

The purple pattern paper is PaperTrey Ink. The embossed backgrounds were done using the Argyle Plaid embossing folder from Spellbinders. I finished off the cards with some sequins.

I used this round of Freshly Made Sketches #717 for some of my designs. The flower was one of the panels from the sketch, the sentiment the other.

Below is the card I am entering into this challenge:

The second card set I created I used a combination of old pattern papers from Bazzill and the Spellbinders 2023 Large Die of the Month-Club Blooms.

Out of all the sets, these cards were my FAVORITE!!!

I used the Spellbinders Umbrella Bloom Dies for the red tulip flowers on the right two cards.

Here is the 5th card in the set, as well as some close ups of the flowers from a few cards. The sentiments are from my stash. I was really bad at keeping track of what companies they are from!!!

The last set was inspired by a card I created YEARS ago. It had a cute design and it was easy to recreate!!

I stamped the black and white backgrounds using a Pinkfresh Studio Cling Stamp. I believe it is retired as I cannot find it to link anywhere.

The die cut flowers were once again die cut using the January 2023 Large Die of the Month-Club Blooms. The sentiments are a mix from my stash and Altenew's Billowing Peonies set.

The borders were a mix of twine in yellow, red, pink and a rick rack die from MFT Stamps. Boy do I miss that company!!

I also dug out enamel dots from my stash for accents. I LOVE how these came out too

These were just some of the cards I created for my co-workers. I have another set that will be in a hop in a few weeks and wound up going into my stash to supplement. I added a sheet of hand canceled stamps for them to use on my cards, as well as envelopes, a pretty marker and a scratch lottery ticket for good luck. I was in a rush so I didn't take a photo of how I wrapped the boxes but everyone LOVED them.

Well, that is all from me today. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Here's to 2026 being better than 2025!!

There is Still Time to Play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #632

Hello Friends!

Today I am popping in with a card to remind you that there is still time to play with this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #632 is a THEME CHALLENGE-LET IT SNOW.

Below is the Challenge Badge for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #632:

Instead of using the colors from the Challenge Badge, I decided to go with more of a slate blue. I also wanted to use the gingerbread men from a Pink and Main stamp set that I bought last year. I think this little guy is adorable!

I created a simple background with some blue ink and a snowflake stencil. I then adhered some snowflakes onto my panel and distressed the edges before layering it onto a blue, A2 cardbase.

The stamped and die cut the sentiment from The Greetery. My last step was to adhere a few white gems and my card was done.

That is all from me. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Make A Wish!!

Hey Friends!!!

I am popping in with a couple of cards I created for some challenges. My first card I created is a birthday card.

My daughter turns 25 today and I created this simple birthday card for her. I dove through my scraps and found different pattern papers and cardstock that matched for my card.

I wanted it to be simple because I made this at the last minute. However, I also wanted to personalize it so I added the number die cuts.

I used two challenges as inspiration for my card-Freshly Made Sketches #715 and Just Add Ink Challenge #775-Celebration.

My next card is a Christmas card that I LOVE!! These images I HAD TO HAVE because I thought these little mice are SO CUTE. I used the Candy Cane Lane stamps/die set from Mama Elephant.

I used a stencil for the circles in back of the mice. I then used a snowflake stencil over the circle stencils to create my snowflakes.

I colored in all my little mice with Copic markers. I LOVE how they came out!!

I am entering this into three challenges. This weeks Inspired By...#365-the red from the gnome, The Tic Tac Toe Challenge #285-middle row down-blue, free, stencil and the AAA Challenge #305-Anything Goes CAS.

Well, that is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS Sunday!!!

A New Challenge Over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge-Challenge #632

Hello Crafty Friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the
Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #632 is a THEME challenge. Create a project using the theme-LET IT SNOW.

Yes, it is a Christmas card but I am once again working on new ones for next year. It is never too early to start!!

Below is the Challenge Badge for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #632:

Though I rarely use the colors from the challenge badge, I decided to use them for this card. I started off by embossing a piece of Spellbinders Breeze cardstock with my favorite embossing folder by Simon Says Stamp!-Filigree Snowflakes.

I added some snowflakes from my stash. I am not sure what companies they are from as I have an OBSESSION with buying snowflake dies and die cut them all at once in one sitting.

My sentiment is from Sunny Studios. I used a shade darker ink from the background cardstock to color it in. I then covered the die cut in glossy accents. The black sentiment banner is from my stash.

To finish my card, I adhered some white jewels randomly on the background.

Freshly Made Sketches #714

 Hey Friends!!

I hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving!! I ate way too much and did a ton of cleaning over the long weekend. I did get to craft a bit and am posting one of my cards before it is too late to enter it!!!

I created this card for this week's Freshly Made Sketches #714. I try to do this each week but sometimes forget to post them in time. Below is the sketch that inspired my card.

I used a bunch of things from my stash for my card. The background paper is from a My Mind's Eye paper pad-Merry Little Christmas-that I have had FOR YEARS.

The poinsettia was die cut using a die from Waffle Flower Crafts. I have had this die in my stash and never pulled it out. I decided it was time to use it!!! I added some glue and Snowflake Distress Glitter to give it some BLING.

The sentiment is from Concord & 9th and the white panel behind the sentiment was die cut using a label die from Pinkfresh Studio. I would link the supplies but I am trying to get this post up because I have to do an errand before 8:00 p.m. and need to go.

That is all from me today. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS night!!

Monday, Monday with some Fun Cards!

***(Some links in this post are Affiliate Links used at no extra cost to you.)

Hey Friends!!

Today I am popping in with some cards that I created for some challenges. I have to say that I have NOT been in my craft room lately. We are having 16 people for Thanksgiving and I have been cleaning up a storm. I do not have a huge house so I am happy to host the holiday, I am stressed about where everyone will sit!!!

My first card that I am posting I created using a few challenges.

I had fun combining a bunch of different products for this card. I used the Tessellating Snowflakes Embossing Folder by Simon Says Stamp for my background. The present "stamps," the bows and the stencils are all from Waffle Flower Crafts.

The holly is from Spellbinder's and the snowflakes are from my stash. I LOVE how this card came out!!

I am entering this into the following challenge-Inspirational Challenge #355 (I was inspired by the holly tag), The 52 Christmas Card Throwdown-(use of stamps on a card), and the Inspired By...#363-(napkin photo-I was inspired by the snowflakes and the kraft color)

My second card is NOT a Christmas card. I actually created two. One is a 5" by 7" card and the other is an A2 sized card.

I am showing my larger card first. I started off by using the Spellbinders 3D Beautiful Butterflies embossing folder. I added some flowers by from the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month Club that were from January 2023. I have been trying to go through my stash and dig out things that I have not used yet and this set was one of them.

The oval die is from the Double Stitched Elongated Oval die set by Pinkfresh Studio.

The sentiment is the new Everything Will Be Okay stamps/dies by Kristina Werner for Concord & 9th.

This card was inspired by last week's Freshly Made Sketches #713, Just Add Ink #774-Stencils/Dies or both, the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #284-the diagonal-embellishments, free, flowers and The Beautiful Blossom Challenge #35-Anything Goes.

My last card is the smaller card that mirrors my larger card.

I used the same die for the flowers and leaves, the same stamp/die set for my sentiment but changed the background to a piece of pattern paper from the Fancy Pants Making Waves 6" by 6" paper pad.

You can see my little thread nest underneath the flowers better on this card than my first card. I used the Metallic Thread by Altenew.

Which one do you like more? The A2 size or the 5 by 7 card? I like both for different reasons.

Well that is all from me now. I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!
