A Reminder for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #584-Winter Wonderland

Hey Friends!!

There is still time to play with us over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge for #584. This round is a THEME challenge-WINTER WONDERLAND. 

For my card this week, I created a scene with die cuts from my stash. 

Sometimes you want to put together a card that is cute but easy. Coloring images and die cutting things ahead of time really helps!

I started off by masking the edges of a white card panel and doing some ink blending in red in the center.

 

I die cut the panel and layered it over an A2 sized red card base. I cut apart a snowflake frame die from Simon Says Stamp and layered my little bear over the top with some trees from my stash.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #584-Winter Wonderland!!

Hey friends!!

I am just popping in with a card I created for this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Challenge #584 is a THEME challenge-WINTER WONDERLAND.

I decided to use the Poppy Stamps Nordic Whimsy Trees, Nordic Flourishes and Holiday Corgi to create my card.

Isn' that pup CUTE? I love how this came out and know exactly who I am sending this out to this year!! Below is the challenge badge for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #584.

I also chose to use some pattern paper from my stash for the background. I think that is going to be a goal this year for me. I have SO MUCH pattern paper that I could open my own store. I need to start using it.

I used Distress Ink to shade in my trees and the pup. Easy peasy!!!

Just a Reminder for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #583!!!

Hey Friends!! There is still time to play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #583. This round is a COLOR challenge-NAVY, WHITE and GOLD.

I created my card using and image from our sponsor this round-ALL DRESSED UP STAMPS.

The image used is called Tra La La and I had fun coloring it in with Copic Markers.

I layered the image over some scraps of pattern paper and used a tiny strip of gold at the top to bring out the gold in the colored image.

A New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenges #580

Hey friends!! 

I am popping in with a card for the NEW challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog. Challenge #580 is a theme challenge. It is all about HALLOWEEN!!!

Below is the challenge badge for CIC580:

We have a sponsor this time around. Mirtillamente Craft Shop generously donated our digital images. The image I used is Svario: Happy Halloween Black Cat. Isn't he so fun?

I created my background by printing a sentiment directly on the background and then using a combination of Distress Ink and Distress Oxide blended over it. I then used some Distress Stain and Distress Mica Spray over the top.

The images were colored in using colored pencils. I LOVE how this card came out!!

 Hello Friends!!!

There is a NEW challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge this week. Challenge #579 is a COLOR challenge. It is to use the colors BURNT ORANGE, GREEN and SKY BLUE on a project.

This round we used digital stamps that were generously donated to us by Laurie Furnell Ink. 

The little mouse used is from her Autumn Mouse Digital Stamps. I had to use this image because I thought it was too cute!!

I used Copic Markers to color the mouse in and mounted it over some pattern paper scraps.

I decided to use some Washi on the panel as well and adhered some enamel dots to complete my card.

There is Still Time to Play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #578

Hello friends!! 

I am just popping in to say that there is still time to play with the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #578. It is a THEME challenge this round. It is to use PLAID on a project.

The challenge badge for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #578 is below:

For my project, instead of a buffalo plaid, I decided to use a piece of American Crafts "Blooming Wild" pattern paper for my project. It had all sorts of fun colors that I could choose to create accents with. I then die cut a rectangle using the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackable Dies and adhered it over the pattern paper. 

I added a scalloped frame die cut from light purple cardstock over the white panel. I then used a flower that was all ready stamped and die cut from my stash over the front. 

I used an embossed sentiment strip from my stash that I cut apart and adhered it to my card with foam adhesive. My last step was to adhere some purple gems to the front of my card and it was complete.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #578

Hello Friends!!

There is time for a new challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Challenge #578 is a THEME challenge. It is to create a project using PLAID!!!

The Challenge Badge for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #578 Is below.

Instead of a card, I created a gift card holder. I used the Gift Card Bag Holder Die from the Stamp Market for this project. I photographed the bag with the inside pulled out.

I used a Buffalo Plaid stencil in pink on the white background for the pattern. I then die cut the banner with the same Stamp Market die and stamped a sentiment with The Stamp Market Gift Card Greetings Stamps.

The bag was perfect to layer some the **Stylish Oval Hello You Floral Etched Dies by Spellbinders over the top. I cannot wait to give this to someone!!!

A New Cupcake Inspiration Challenge-Challenge #577

 Hello Friends!! 

There is a NEW challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge this week. Challenge #577 is a THEME challenge and it is all about BEARS!!!!

I created my card with the image our sponsor, PJ Moore Illustrations donated to us. Isn't this so cute?

I started off this card by resizing and printing the digital stamp. I then colored it in with my Copic markers.

I cut down the white card panel and layered it over some scraps of pattern paper that were in my scrap drawer.

I added a sentiment with stickers. I have so many of these tiny stickers from my scrapbook days and I decided I needed to get them out to use. To finish my card off, I added a tiny die cut heart and covered it with clear shimmer pen and Glossy Accents.

Once again I used the Spellbinders Sealed Bouquet Dies to create my card. The stencil was from my stash.

The sentiment is from The Greetery. I am trying to get out things that I rarely use and I have had this sentiment set for ages.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #574

Hey friends!! There is a new challenge up at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge this week. It is a COLOR challenge. Can you guess which ones by my card????

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #574 is all about using LIME, TEAL and WHITE on your project. 

I had fun creating with these colors because they scream SUMMER to me. I used Spellbinders flowers on this card. 

I used the Sealed Bouquet dies and the frame is a retired die by My Favorite Things. The sentiment is from an Altenew set that was on my desk.

There is Still Time to Play At Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #572

Hey friends!!!  

I am just popping in today with a reminder that there is still time to play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #572. This time around it is a color challenge.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #572 is to use RED, WHITE and BLUE on a project.

I used a piece of the panel I create for last weeks card to create the card I created for this week.

 

The tulips are a background stamp from Simon Says Stamp! that I colored in using Copic Markers and colored pencils.  I then cut it up into pieces. This is a great way to make multiple cards at one time!!!

I accented the card with a die cut sentiment from Spellbinders and a rick rack border from MFT Stamps.
