Happy Sunday!!!
The sun is shining today but I have decided to spend some time in my craft room. I wanted to create some cards for a few challenges this week.
The first card I created for this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge #743. It was to make a card using the colors pink, lime and white.
This card was so fun to create!! I shaded my card front with two types of pink ink. I then placed the Pinkfresh Studio Daisy Chain die cut over the top.
The flowers were die cut using a Momenta die and scraps. The roses were cut from blush cardstock and shaded with the same pink ink as the background. The flowers stems were die cut from some scraps of Basic Grey pattern paper. Oh how I miss this company!!!
The sentiment is from the Stylish Oval Stamp set from Spellbinders. I stamped it on white and used a circle die to cut it out. I then shaded it with pink ink. I just love how this whole card turned out!!!
My next card I created for two challenges. I did a little distressing and used both premade elements and elements I had to create.
I used 49 & Market Countryside Collection paper and ephemera on this card.
I added some Spellbinders flowers and a sentiment from MFT. I adore this paper collection!!! I know a lot of people love to create there own papers and I do too. However, I also like using pre-made papers as well. I kind of have an addiction to pattern papers and need to stop buying them.
I am entering this into this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #586 and this round of The Card Concept 195b. I loved the fun bird images and vintage flavor of the Card Concept badge. I am hoping it is okay to link to The Card Concept as I did not use any colors from the badge!!!
My last card I originally created for LAST WEEKS Freshly Made Sketches but never photographed it in time.
I just figured I would throw it on the blog for everyone to see. Don't you hate when that happens?
The background is from an embossing folder by Honey Bee Stamps. The postage stamp die is from Kat Scrappiness, the pattern paper from 49 & Market, and the planter is from Altenew.
Yes, my sentiment is not perfect. I tried to cut it in a straight line but I couldn't do it. This was my second attempt and I figured that I didn't care and am leaving it.
I do love how this card came out other than that and think I will make a couple more cards with this design for a set.
Well that is all from me today. Thank you for stopping by. Have a fabulous night!!!
