Merry Christmas and a Card!!

 Hey Friends!!!

I am just popping in with a card I created for a couple of challenges. I am so happy that I have a week off now and will actually have time to do some creating!!

The inspiration for this card was from Freshly Made Sketches #616 and the Just Add Ink Challenge #684.

I used pattern papers from 49 & Market and dies from Spellbinders.

The sentiment is from an ephemera pack from 49 & Market.

The second card I created was inspired by The Card Concept #202.

I used 49 & Market ephemera and papers on this card. The gingham paper was the back of the label on the paper pack!!

I LOVE this paper. I popped up some of the ephemera for a bit of emphasis.

Well that is all from me today. Thanks for stopping by. I wish you all a great Holiday!!!

Fun Cars for some Challenges

 Happy Sunday!!!

The sun is shining today but I have decided to spend some time in my craft room. I wanted to create some cards for a few challenges this week.

The first card I created for this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge #743. It was to make a card using the colors pink, lime and white.

This card was so fun to create!! I shaded my card front with two types of pink ink. I then placed the Pinkfresh Studio Daisy Chain die cut over the top.

The flowers were die cut using a Momenta die and scraps. The roses were cut from blush cardstock and shaded with the same pink ink as the background. The flowers stems were die cut from some scraps of Basic Grey pattern paper. Oh how I miss this company!!!

The sentiment is from the Stylish Oval Stamp set from Spellbinders. I stamped it on white and used a circle die to cut it out. I then shaded it with pink ink. I just love how this whole card turned out!!!

I am entering this into the Color Throwdown Challenge #743 and the Happy Little Stampers-Anything Goes with Dies.

My next card I created for two challenges. I did a little distressing and used both premade elements and elements I had to create.

I used 49 & Market Countryside Collection paper and ephemera on this card

I added some Spellbinders flowers and a sentiment from MFT. I adore this paper collection!!! I know a lot of people love to create there own papers and I do too. However, I also like using pre-made papers as well. I kind of have an addiction to pattern papers and need to stop buying them.

I am entering this into this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #586 and this round of The Card Concept 195b. I loved the fun bird images and vintage flavor of the Card Concept badge. I am hoping it is okay to link to The Card Concept as I did not use any colors from the badge!!!

My last card I originally created for LAST WEEKS Freshly Made Sketches but never photographed it in time.

I just figured I would throw it on the blog for everyone to see. Don't you hate when that happens?

The background is from an embossing folder by Honey Bee Stamps. The postage stamp die is from Kat Scrappiness, the pattern paper from 49 & Market, and the planter is from Altenew.

Yes, my sentiment is not perfect. I tried to cut it in a straight line but I couldn't do it. This was my second attempt and I figured that I didn't care and am leaving it.

I do love how this card came out other than that and think I will make a couple more cards with this design for a set.

Well that is all from me today. Thank you for stopping by. Have a fabulous night!!!

There is Still Time to Play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #567

Hey friends!! Just popping in to remind you that there is still time to play with Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #567. The card I created for this week is a birthday card.

I used a combination of pre-made die cuts and paper from the Strawberry Lemonade Collection by 49 & Market, a die from Pinkfresh Studio and sentiments from my stash.

The Cupcake Inspirations Challenge was a color challenge this time around. It is to use ORANGE, PINK and Yellow on a card.

I am a "collector" of pattern paper and pre-made die cuts die cuts and was excited to use them on this card. I need to do more of this in the future!!!

The colors on the ephemera were perfect for this card too!!!

I hope that you hop on over to  Cupcake Inspirations Challenge to join us in this challenge. I cannot wait to see what you create!!

That is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a fabulous week!!

Cards for a Couple of Challenges

Happy Sunday crafty friends!! I cannot believe today is the last day of July!! This summer has gone by so fast-too fast!!! When you work in a school, the first day of August is not a date you look forward to. It goes all downhill from there!! Not really!!

Today I am popping in with some cards I created for some challenges. I actually had some inspiration this week and wanted to use some of the new supplies I have bought this month.

My first card is clean and simple. I am entering this into Addicted to Stamps-Any Occasion challenge.

I used Pinkfresh Studio's Beautiful Blooms stamps, dies and stencils for this card.

The background die is from Birch Press Design. I actually had to cut it down because it die cut wonky when I ran it through my die cut machine. I should have used a new piece of tape!!!

My second card was inspired by the sketch at Sunday Stamps

I used products from 49 and Market Spectrum Sherbet Tidal Wave collection.

The sentiment is from Pinkfresh Studio's Rainbow Sentiments.

I used Waffleflower Crafts A2 Layer Dies to die cut out all my panels of pattern paper. I used Pumice Stone Distress Ink along the edges and then distressed them.

I am also entering this card into The Paper Players Challenge-PP602. It is a Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge and I used the middle row-die cut, blue and pattern paper.

This card was a bit out of the box for me but I LOVE how it came out!!!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!
