Hello my friends!! I hope that you are all well and have recovered from the Thanksgiving festivities. We hosted this year and it was so nice to be back to a semi-normal celebration.
I have to be honest that I almost forgot to post my card for this weeks Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Between last minute cleaning, cooking and having my daughter home from college, the weekend was all about family.
This week I have to call in to see if I have Federal Jury Duty. I am on the fence as to how I feel about it all. I think being on a jury would be interesting but it is a lot of time out of work. If I don't get picked this time, I can be picked again within two month time frame.
On to my card!! This is my creation for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #533-a color challenge.
The challenge was to use red, cream and white on a card. This was really hard as I would not usually use cream and white together!!
I pulled it together by creating my my Blooming Poinsettias from Poppy Stamps in these three colors. My cream is more vanilla but I am okay with that.
I used a scrap for the Concord and 9th "joy" sentiment. I adhered it over a piece of paper from a retired Authentique 6 by 6 paper pad. I have SO MUCH paper in my Christmas stash that I cannot buy anymore!!
I tried to die cut each piece of the poinsettia using a different shade of the cardstock. Each piece was from my scrap drawer. I love how this came out!!!
I now challenge YOU to create a card using these colors. Hop on over to the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog to enter. I cannot wait to see what you create!!!
I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!!

This week is Thanksgiving and I cannot wait for the day. On this day, I always make old favorites and sometimes add a new dish. What is your favorite thing about this American holiday?
Today I am popping in with a card for the second week of Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #532.

Hi friends!! It has been a long time that I have sat down to just make a card for myself, using whatever I wanted. Today I did some cleaning and decided to take a time out create a card for two different challenges.
I created this for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #512 and The Color Throwdown #669.
I started by doing a bit of ink blending with Chipped Sapphire and Prized Ribbon Distress Ink. I then used a new stencil that I received from Stamperia. My last step was to use Gold Color Shine, Picket Fence and Prize Ribbon Distress Spray Stain.
I used Spellbinders November 2021 Small Die of the Month Club for my ornament. I die cut the ornament out of white and gold cardstock. I used some navy gems for some fun on my ornamnet.
My pine boughs and Typed Christmas sentiment are from Hello Bluebird and the foiled strips are from a DCWV foiled paper pad.
I had SO MUCH FUN creating this card!!! I am so into blue and gold at this moment. I wish I could make it my color scheme but I am not willing to spend money on new ornament.
I am looking forward to seeing my daughter this week. She is coming home on Tuesday and I have not seen her since October. This week is going to be so busy!!! I am having my family and Chris at Thanksgiving this year after not seeing anyone last year.
Well, that is all from me. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by!!! Have a FABULOUS day!!
Hello my crafty friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!!
Today I am popping in with a fall card that I created for this weeks Cupcake Inspiration Challenge.
The next two weeks it is a theme challenge-FALL FOLIAGE. My card is more fall plants as the Sunflower and pumpkin are "fall" oriented.

Welcome to my blog!
Kat Scrappiness is pleased to be a returning super sponsor for the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop for the Fall/Winter 2021. As a design team member, I’m thrilled to show you a project I created using some of the Kat Scrappiness “Coffee” related products. Kat Scrappiness currently has over 100 Coffee themed products available here!
I started my card by ink blending Festive Berries and Walnut Stain Distress Ink over the background. I then flicked three colors of mist over the top.
While the background was drying, I used the Kat Scrappiness Layered Coffee Cup Die to die cut the coffee cup out of Neenah White Cardstock and Kat Scrappiness red Rainbow Confetti Slimline paper. I used Festive Berries Distress Ink to blend the coffee warmer and adhered all the pieces of the cup together.
Hey Crafty Friends!! I hope you are all doing well.
Today I am back with a belated birthday card I created using this weeks Cupcake Inspirations Color Challenge #531.
I layered a jar and flowers from The Greetery. I used Kat Scrappiness Sparkling Snow Pearls for the middle of the flowers of the hydrangeas.
