Shine On-Simon Says Stamp! June Release

Hey Crafty Friends!

Today I am posting the last card I created for Simon Says Stamp! Shine On Release.

I had fun using the new Balloon Critters stamp set to create my card. I had fun using this set to create my little floating dog. I colored my image in with Copic Markers and added some white gel pen accents.

I layered my little balloon dog over am ombre circle and the SSS Dot Spiral embossing folder from a previous release.

I added an adorable sentiment from the Balloon Critters set and added some Moonflower Embellishment Mix for a festive look.

Want to see the entire Shine On collection? Hop on over to the Simon Says Stamp! Store to see all the new goodies.

That is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS Sunday.

A Couple of Challenge Cards

Hey Crafty Friends!!!

Ahhh!! The first week of school vacation!!! I have been busy relaxing, working out again AND CRAFTING. It is so nice to be able to get to my craft desk to create.

My first card I created for two challenges.

I used this round of the Color Hues Challenge #135 and this weeks Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I used the Petal Burst stencil by Spellbinders for my background.

The sentiment was stamped/die cut using the SSS With Sympathy Stamp set.

The black leaves were die cut with the Curvy Leaves die from Pinkfresh Studios.

My second card I created for Freshly Made Sketches #742 and the All Sorts Challenge #852.

Before I post my card, I need to preface that I really STRETCHED how the sketch inspired me. I went through die cuts that are in my "extra" pile and wanted to use the orange suitcase as the blue strip in the sketch.

The hat was my "circle" and the green suitcase is the foliage. I put the sketch over my card to show how my thought process is.

I used the Honey Bee Stamps Small Suitcase dies for most of the dies on this card.

The background paper is from the Been There Collection by Arden Studio. I had fun distressing the edges on this pattern paper and layering it over an A2, top folding card base.

The sentiment is from Altenew's Sentiment Strips 3. I cut it up to fit the card. I thought it was kind of appropriate to this card.

Well that is all from me today. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a fabulous day!

A Sympathy Card

Hey Friends!!!

Just popping in with a card that I created for some challenges. One of my friends just lost her father and I wanted to make a sympathy card for her. This card was inspired by this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #741 and Just Add Ink #788.

This is not a clean and simple card. I used 49 and Market Faded Memory Lane paper, Filmstrip and Postage Laser Cuts, Faded Memory Lane Ephemera and Simon Says Stamp! With Sympathy stamp/die set for the sentiment.

Below are the badges of the challenges I am entering this card into.

I had fun distressing the images on this card and Vintage Photo Ink around the edges to get a distressed look.

Well, that is all from me today. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. have a FABULOUS day!!!

Always There Release at Simon Says Stamp!

Hello Friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the Simon Says Stamp! "Always There" product release!!! They asked me to join them this month and sent me the "With Sympathy" stamp set to play with. I was so honored to be asked to be a part of this release.

I started off by stamping the branch image from the "With Sympathy" stamp set with Simon Says Stamp! Raindrop Pawsitively Saturated Ink. I have slowly been collecting all of their inks and this was the first time I used this color. It is so dramatic!!!

I then used white Jelly Roll pen to add some white detailing inside the stamped images. It looks so good with the dark green.

I adhered my stamped panel over an A2 card green card base which just happened to match the Raindrop ink. Sometimes being a hoarder pays off!!!

I added an embossed sentiment from "With Sympathy" and used a few jewels from the SSS Cool Tones Pawsitively Dazzling Gems set to finish my card off. I LOVE how this came out and will be duplicating this card in other colors for my stash.

Hop on over to Simon Says Stamp! to see more of the new release. There are a TON of great examples from the designers.

Thats all from me today. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

A New Release for Kat Scrappiness!!!!

***Some affiliate links are used in this post at no extra cost to you.

Hello Friends!!!

It is a busy week this week. Exams start for the students and I am so happy for the school year to be OVER!!! It has been one of the toughest that I ever have remembered and I don't think it will be getting any better.

Today I am popping with a couple cards I created for a NEW RELEASE over at the Kat Scrappiness Shop. It is a stamp, die and paper set to raise money for Ukraine. It is called #UkraineStrong.

All profits from this set until July 1, 2022 (or while supplies last) will be donated to the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund. With all that has been going on in our own country, there is still a need for relief to the Ukrainian people.

I created a couple of cards for this release that were on the Kat Scrappiness Blog yesterday.

I used the new paper and stamps, along with the Kat Scrappiness Heart Donut Builder Dies and Midnight Sky Pearls to create my card.

I wanted to show case how pretty the papers are on this card and could be used for a ton of other kinds of cards. I already know that I will be using it for some masculine birthday cards in the future.

My second card I used the paper and stamps again but with the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Scallop Nesting Tags Dies and White Diamond Sequin Mix.

I stamped the sentiment and the sunflower in blue using the stamp set, and made the polka dots on the back of my card using the center of the sunflower.

The tag was cut from the #UkraineStrong paper pad. This card is actually my favorite from the three I created for this release!!!

I have a BONUS CARD over on Instagram today using these products too. There is a hop going on with a  with a random prize being given. Hop on over to Instagram and click on the badge. All the details for the hop are in the post!!!

I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. I hope that you will support this cause. Have a FABULOUS day!!

A Belated Birthday Using the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #531-Week 2

Hey Crafty Friends!! I hope you are all doing well.

Today I am back with a belated birthday card I created using this weeks Cupcake Inspirations Color Challenge #531.

We were to use the colors Tangerine, Brown and Blue.

I started off by die cutting blue cardstock with a Stamp Market Die.

I layered a jar and flowers from The Greetery. I used Kat Scrappiness Sparkling Snow Pearls for the middle of the flowers of the hydrangeas.

The little bird is from Paper Trey Ink. I printed the sentiment out myself from the computer.

I hope you come and play with us this week at the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #531. I cannot wait to see what you create.

That is all from me today. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #531

 Hello my friends!!

Today I am posting a card for a new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. It is to use the colors brown, tangerine and blue on your card.

I have to admit that this was something I had to think about. I decided to use some dies by Spellbinders to create this card. Below is this weeks Cupcake Inspiration Challenge Badge #531.

I used the images on top of the cupcakes, as well as the colors for the my inspiration. The layered die cuts look like they have a flower image on them.

The polka dot paper is at least 10 years old and is from My Mind's Eye. I layered it over a light blue, A2 sized card base.

My sentiment is from The Greetery. It is a really simple card but I like how it came out. Sometimes simple is good!!!

That is all from me today. Please hop on over to The Cupcake Inspiration Challenge Blog and play with us this week. I cannot wait to see what you create!!!

I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by today. Have a FABULOUS day!!
