Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #596-For the Guys!

Hey friends!!!

Today I am popping in with a card for this round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Challenge #596 is a THEME challenge-FOR THE GUYS.

Guys cards are so hard for me to create for some reason. Am I the only one? Below is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Badge for CIC596:

I chose to use some of the main colors from the Inspiration Picture on the badge. I used scraps and cut them into strips.

Instead of using a dark brown, I chose to go with a Kraft color for the card base and "happy" sentiment.

Graduation is at the end of the month for some students I work with.  I figured I would make a card. I used old stamps from Paper Trey Ink, MFT Stamps and Casual Fridays Stamps for this card.

I am going to be honest, I had a hard time with this challenge. Primary colors are NOT my jam. However, these colors worked well for this card.

A New Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations-Challenge #595

Hey friends!!

I love the safety pin die cut. It is so CUTE. I did a bit of smooshing for the lilacs.

For my card, I used an an image generously donated to the DT by our SPONSOR-Last Minute Manda. 

This is from the Baby Edward digital stamp set. 

Once again I chose to color in this adorable image in yellow and green with Copic Markers. I kept it neutral so I could give this to someone having a boy or a girl. 

I layered it over some scraps of pattern paper and used die cut letters for the sentiment. I LOVE how this came out. It was so fun to color.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #594-WELCOME BABY

 Hey Friends!!

Today I am popping in with a card for the NEW round of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!!! Challenge #594 is a THEME challenge-WELCOME BABY.

I used an image that was generously donated from our SPONSOR for this challenge-Last Minute Manda.  

I LOVED this little elephant from the Baby Edward digital stamp set.

I colored in the image using Copic Markers and layered the colored panel over some scraps of pattern paper. I chose to use greens and yellows so I can send this to a boy or a girl.

I dug out some old alphabet stickers from my scrapbook days for the sentiment. I LOVE how this card came out!!!

For my card, I used the Friendship Leafy Cluster stamps, dies and stencils from Simon Says Stamp!

This card was SO EASY to put together!!! I love using stencils to color this type of stamped image in.

For my card, I chose to create a birthday card.

I combined the colors of orange and purple for this card. I love how it came out!!

All my flowers and the stitched letters are from Spellbinders. The sentiment is from my stash.

To break up the plain, white card base, I chose to dry emboss some leaves on a white scrap and place it behind all my elements. I think it grounds the design.

A NEW Challenge at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge-#592

Hey friends!!!

There is a NEW challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge this week. Challenge #592 is a THEME Challenge-FLOWERS!!! 

I had so much fun using a TON of products from The Greetery to create my card. (no affiliate) Once again I am trying to use products that I have in my stash so I pulled out some flower stamps and went to town stamping.

Isn't it pretty? I LOVE the colors with the pattern paper background!!! Below is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Badge for CIC592.

Not only was I inspired by the theme but the little purple flowers on the cupcake. I knew I had to use this color on my card.

I mounted the stamped sentiment (also from The Greetery) over my flowers and added some pearls to finish it off. I LOVE how this came out!!!
